This Privacy Policy explains how Vision Systems, LLC ("Vision Systems," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, stores, shares, and protects information when you use our operating dashboard and related services (the "Service"). It also explains how we handle data we access from QuickBooks through Intuit on your authorization.
By using the Service or connecting a third-party account such as QuickBooks, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
When you create an account or contact us, we collect information such as your name, email address, business name, and any details you include in a message to us.
When you connect QuickBooks, we access and store financial data from your QuickBooks company on your authorization. This typically includes:
We access only the data needed to operate your dashboard. We do not receive or store your QuickBooks login credentials.
We collect basic technical information generated when you use the Service, such as log data, device and browser information, and activity within the dashboard, used to operate, secure, and improve the Service.
We use the information we collect to:
We do not use your financial data for advertising, and we do not sell your information.
You authorize the QuickBooks connection through Intuit's secure sign-in using OAuth. We receive an access token that lets us read the data described above; we never see or store your QuickBooks password.
Data we sync from QuickBooks is stored in our database and used to power your dashboard. Your use of QuickBooks remains subject to Intuit's own terms and privacy policy. You can disconnect QuickBooks at any time, which revokes our access going forward (see Sections 6 and 7).
We do not sell your personal or financial information. We share information only as described below:
We use a small number of trusted providers to run the Service. They process data only to provide services to us and are bound by confidentiality and data-protection obligations:
| Provider | Role | Data involved |
|---|---|---|
| Vercel | Application hosting and serverless functions | Account and financial data passes through during operation and sync |
| Supabase (on AWS) | Database and storage | Stores account data and synced financial data |
| Anthropic | AI processing for written insights | Summaries of your financial data, used to generate dashboard commentary |
We may update this list as our providers change and will revise this policy accordingly.
We may disclose information if required by law, to enforce our agreements, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of our users, the public, or Vision Systems.
If Vision Systems is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this policy.
Your data is stored in our database hosted by Supabase on Amazon Web Services infrastructure in the United States. We protect data in transit using TLS encryption and protect stored data using encryption at rest. We restrict access to authorized personnel and systems, and we store authorization tokens securely.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we work to protect your information using reasonable, industry-standard safeguards.
We retain your account and synced financial data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service.
When you disconnect QuickBooks, we revoke the access token and stop syncing new data. Financial data already synced remains in our database unless you ask us to delete it. You can request deletion of your data at any time by emailing contact@visionsystems.io, and we will delete it within a reasonable period, except where we are required to retain certain information by law.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these, contact us at contact@visionsystems.io.

The Service is intended for businesses and is not directed to individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
